American Economic Association (AEA) & Allied Social Sciences Association (ASSA)

The American Economics Association (AEA) is a non-profit, non-partisan, scholarly association dedicated to the discussion and publication of economics research. The AEA works in conjunction with 61 associations in related disciplines known as the Allied Social Science Associations (ASSA). Each January, the American Risk and Insurance Association (ARIA) organizes a session sponsored by the by AEA at the ASSA Annual Meetings where members present research on risk and insurance economics. ARIA’s Midyear Board of Directors meeting is conducted in conjunction with this larger meeting as well.

European Group of Risk and Insurance Economists (EGRIE)

EGRIE is a European based non-profit organization dedicated to promoting research on risk and insurance. EGRIE organizes scientific conferences and meetings, publish research materials and create networking opportunities.

Asia-Pacific Risk and Insurance Association (APRIA)

APRIA is an international organization dedicated to providing opportunities for individuals and entities in the field of risk management to share ideas.

Southern Risk and Insurance Association (SRIA)

SRIA promotes education, encourages and publishes research, and provides an open forum for scholarly discussion in matters of risk management and insurance.

Western Risk and Insurance Association (WRIA)

WRIA promotes education and research in the field of Risk Management and Insurance.

NBER is a private, non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to conducting economic research and to disseminating research findings among academics, public policy makers, and business professionals.

The Huebner Foundation supports promising doctoral students pursuing careers in insurance and risk management education, and promotes research addressing important policy and business issues related to risk and insurance.
